My Take on First Things First by Stephen R.Covey, Merrill, Merrill

My Take on First Things First by Stephen R.Covey, Merrill, Merrill A very good book, filled with examples that would make you think. I read this book because I was having difficulties juggling my student life and personal life. I would like to share with you the tools that I find efficient in this book 1. Follow your intuition 2. Always categorize your to-do's and put them into 4 categories.  Important & Urgent Important & Not Urgent Not Important & Urgent Not Important & Not Urgent You decide your issues priorities, I can say that loitering is in the 4th category but some people would view loitering as a way socializing. So, based on that logic it is up to you on how to set your priorities straight! 3. Live in the present.  It is easy to be worried about the future and delve into the past. Start by being grateful of what you have and things will casually follow suit. Conclusion I really recommend this book for people ...

Life Lesson 1

Being Patient. Totally unrelated picture. I just miss Sydney Being patient is so underrated!  As someone who's born in the 90's, I am used to having everything fast and I want to have everything quickly done. Therefore, I would search for shortcuts for everything. University assignments, quizzes, finance, tell me about it. Also, being raised in a family that would make Malay dramas pale in comparison made me a short-tempered person. (but hey I'm not blaming, it is a part of who I am) Recently, I figured out that taking shortcuts is not the way to live. For example, there is no shortcut to learning. I really believe that patience is the key in handling life.  A lot of relationships were lost due to my temper.  A lot of knowledge was not understood for not taking the time to sit down and face the problem. Lesson 1: Life is a cycle of phases, so just sit down, be patient and go with the rhythm,.
